With increasing frequency, the industry sector is demanding nitrogen as gas which can be used in the processing and cutting of metal sheets.
The laser beam, focused by a lens, cuts the foil in a very clear way making the metal weld, while the process gas, through a nozzle, blows away the processing slags from the cutting area.

LASERPOWER is a project which has been designed and which aims at the diffusion of Nitrogen generators as a production system that is able to replace traditional methods of gas distribution.
Advantages deriving from the use of LASERPOWER:
- The product's complete availability at that moment when it is needed. In this way employees do not have to check stocks, worry about supplies or control and enter invoices. More time can be dedicated to the production.
- A complete independence from the market's gas producers. This allows a complete elimination of fixed costs such as transport costs, costs for the handling of containers, rental of containers and / or tanks and last but not least, the non utilization of a part of the purchased product which can be considered to be between 15 and 20% of the total amount.

The possibility to get a cost reduction - costs pro cubic meter of used product - which can be subtracted from the market's variability, currently dominated from just a few producing companies.
Main features which every generator must have in order to be sold on the market.
- Purity range of produced nitrogen with an oxygen content of less than 100 ppm
- Pressure of the nitrogen's distribution line must be at least of 30 bar

Possibility to store a significant amount of product within a limited space.
LASERPOWER uses high pressure generators, supported by a high pressure (300 bar) compression system, which allows the filling of service lungs. These in turn consists of certified cylinder packs, which have been adequately sized and are able to contain the gas required for daily consumption. This operation will preferably take place at night, in order to take advantage of lower electricity costs, but there is nothing wrong in using it simultaneously. Indeed this won't damage in no way the current productive process.
In case of processing with hight absorption levels, the generator will fractionate the nitrogen sweep in a way that, once the use of the first lung is finished, it will go on to the second one. In the meanwhile the filling phase of the flat lung will restart.
A series of manostats and exchange valve connected to the PLC - generator monitoring will supervise all these operations.
LASERPOWER systems are modular and easily expandable in case you need to increase production. They are also very simple to use and require just a minimal annual maintenance.
