In the injection molding nitrogen is used to create hollows and canals inside the molded pieces.
It offers more freedom in the elements design, improving the aesthetic aspect, involving a reduction of weigh, of the molding time, and thus lower costs.
In the thermoforming process, polystyrene or polypropylene granules are made pass through a stamp where the wanted object is forged with the nitrogen pressure instead of compressed air.
